1.Be at least 18 years of age.
2.Have the consent of all adults living in your household.
3. Understand that filling out this application, does not guarantee adoption and that Newburgh SCATS must approve your application.
Whether you plan to adopt a cat, or a kitten it is essential that you keep in mind that you will be making a 10-20 year PERMANENT commitment this animal
If you live with your parents you must have written permission from them
If you rent, you must supply the following information about your Landlord
List 2 personal references and their relationship to you

*If this adoption is approved and you cannot keep this cat, you must notify Newburgh SCATS Inc. before any decisions is made on where this cat is to go. No SCATS cat is to be surrendered to ANY animal Shelter or just given away.

Also if we are notified of abuse of cat or kitten or a false representation of adoption application has occurred after adopting from Newburgh SCATS we will have the right to remove cat from adopter.
